Orthodox Christian Youth Movement of India, the youth wing of the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church was started with the objectives of "Worship, Study and Service. " The Thumpamon Diocese unit of the Orthodox Christian Youth Movement organizes and execute religious and cultural activities at St. Mary's Orthodox Cathedral Church in Thumpamon, near Pathanamthitta in Kerala.

The Orthodox Christian Youth Movement, has been actively involved in various spiritual, cultural and social activities of the church since its inception. Now, our unit conducts regular meetings . Devotional addresses, Group discussions, Bible studies, Social Services, Song practices etc. are the main activities of the regular meetings. Special seminars, Symposiums, Debates, Study classes and Conferences are frequently arranged by inviting eminent personalities and resource persons. A team of singers both boys and girls form the choir. They make the Holy Qurbana more ecstatic and devotional.
